AddictoQuiz

Solution-focused brief therapy

This quiz assesses your knowledge of the core principles, assumptions, and techniques of Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT).

The questions cover the historical foundations of SFBT, its solution-oriented philosophy, the role of the patient and therapist, key intervention techniques such as the Miracle Question, Exception Questions, Coping Questions, and Scaling Questions, as well as concepts such as pre-session change, resources, hope, and the language of change.

Some questions require identifying multiple correct answers, while others focus on the precise meaning of central SFBT concepts. Particular attention should be paid to distinguishing the solution-focused perspective from problem-focused, diagnostic, insight-oriented, or pathology-oriented approaches.

This section provides a selection of diverse resources intended to support your preparation for and completion of the quiz. The materials may include scientific articles, official reports, practice guidelines, and other relevant documents offering complementary perspectives. Engaging with these resources prior to or during the quiz will help you deepen your understanding of the subject matter, strengthen your analytical approach, and enhance the overall quality of your learning process.
